Industrial Magnetics Appoints Jewell as Southeastern Regional Manager  


BOYNE CITY, Mich.—Industrial Magnetics, Inc. (IMI), a manufacturer of magnetic components and assemblies, recently appointed Ron Jewell as its new Southeast regional manager.

Jewell comes to IMI with an extensive background in magnetic circuit design and its application across a broad range of industry sectors, including automotive, biomedical, aerospace and defense, chemical and process, robotics, and manufacturing. His background includes more than 25 years of experience in engineering, modeling and simulation, product development, and manufacturing process automation. Most recently, as vice president of sales and marketing for Correlated Magnetics Research, he helped launch a new programmable magnetics technology and worked with Industrial Magnetics leadership to establish IMI as the full-service, U.S.-based licensed manufacturer of Polymagnets®.

“Ron brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm for his position,” said Dennis O’Leary, IMI’s chief business development officer, in a statement released by the company. “I am very pleased that we could bring him into the IMI fold. It has made the transition between regional managers seamless, and allows for uninterrupted service and solutions for our customers in the southeast U.S.A.”

Jewell earned a BSBA in economics from Auburn University, with a minor in mathematics. He and his family currently reside in Huntsville, Alabama.
